Subacute care is for residents who are medically fragile and require special services, such as inhalation therapy, tracheotomy care, intravenous tube feeding, and complex wound management care.
At Marina Pointe we have 24 subacute beds for rehabilitation services. We are known for our high staff to resident ratios. We are pleased to provide a sub-acute care program for residents recently released from the hospital. We are able to treat residents, in whatever state they may be in, from recently discharged from a hospital to medically fragile. Our goal is to help our residents in the recuperation process while helping them achieve their maximum capabilities to return home as quickly as possible.
Severe injury often affects the whole person – body, mind and spirit. Marina Pointe offers pleasant surroundings where residents and families experience the comforts of home. Our nurses are available 24 hours a day and our therapists, dietitians, case managers are available to fit your schedule. Within our subacute care we also offer social services as well as enrichment activities.
